IRON GRIP® EQUIPMENT WARRANTY

Iron Grip Barbell Company, Inc. warrants that:

a.) Iron Grip® Urethane Weight Plates, Urethane Dumbbells, and Urethane Fixed Barbells shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of seven (7) years beginning from the original date of purchase; and

b.) Iron Grip® Olympic Bars shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years beginning from the original date of purchase.

Warranties extend to original purchaser and are non-transferable.

Iron Grip Barbell Company’s obligations under the aforesaid warranty shall be limited to repairing or replacing any part or parts of the Products, which if properly installed, used and maintained, prove defective in material or workmanship.

Warranty shall not apply to any component or part of the Products sold hereunder which a.) is consumed by normal wear and tear, or b.) has been damaged due to negligent or faulty use, alteration, maintenance, storage, repair, operation, or handling by the buyer.

Iron Grip Barbell Company will repair or replace any item (as per the above) that can be shown to have broken, provided the customer returns it to us for our inspection. Any costs of removal or transportation shall be the responsibility of the buyer.

EXCLUSIONS:

Olympic Weight Plates and Dumbbells: Urethane products are not intended for use on concrete floors. Urethane products that exhibit damage caused by concrete floors will not be covered under warranty. Urethane products should be cleaned with a clean, soft cloth moistened with water only. Marring of the Urethane due to the use of detergents or household cleaners will not be covered under warranty.

Although all Iron Grip® dumbbells are designed for years of heavy use and are the most durable dumbbells available, they are not designed to be dropped or otherwise abused. Repeated dropping or other abuse may result in bent handles and weakening of the dumbbell. This may pose a safety hazard. We strongly urge you to prevent your members from dropping or otherwise abusing any dumbbells. Broken dumbbells that exhibit bent handles may be excluded from our warranty. Similarly, fixed barbells are not designed to be used in Olympic-style weight lifting exercises. Fixed barbells that have been dropped or otherwise improperly used may be excluded from our warranty.

Olympic Bars and Collars: Warranty covers defects in manufacturing and materials only (including component parts) and does not include bent bar shafts. Warranty does not cover any bar that has been damaged due to negligent or faulty use, alteration, maintenance, storage, or handling by the user. Negligent or faulty use includes a.) abusive dropping of the bar (e.g., dropping the bar on a box, bench, spotter arms or pins in a power rack, excessive dropping with insufficient or damaged bumpers, excessive dropping with iron plates, excessive dropping on concrete or similar surfaces, and similar usage), and b.) use with certain accessories (e.g., pivoting sleeves, ground-based rotational training devices, “Landmines,” etc.)

Lock-Jaw collars are not manufactured by Iron Grip Barbell Company and carry a one-year warranty only.
